Roll ackee and saltfish into crescent dough to make grab and go appetizers for a party or potluck or even to stuff your kid's lunchbox

Ingredients
  

  • Ackee and saltfish prepared
  • 1 Can Crescent dough

Method
 

  1. Remove the dough from the cylinder and unroll onto a lightly floured surface.

  2. Press the cut pieces together to join into one full sheet

  3. Place the ackee and saltfish on top of the dough

  4. Spread evenly, try not to smoosh completely but some smashing is inevitable
  5. Roll the dough up along the short side

  6. Complete the roll then score 24 pieces. Chill till firm then slice into pinwheels

  7. Place the pinwheels on an ungreased tray or one lined with parchment.

  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350F.
    Cool and serve with a dipping sauce if desired

Notes

This is a great way to use up leftover ackee and saltfish!
