Ackee Cheesecake Danishes

These cute danishes are easy to make using store bought dough and the silkiest ackee cheesecake filling!

Ingredients
  

  • Puff pastry (or danish or croissant dough)
  • 1 recipe Ackee Cheesecake Filling

Instructions
 

  • Roll out prepared dough to about a 1/4 inch thick and cut 3 inch squares
  • Tug edges of square out slightly then pull to the centre and press down to secure.
  • Proof according to package instructions - usually about 20 minutes to an hour depending on room temperature till puffed up slightly.
  • Pipe or spoon cream cheese filling into the centre.
  • Bake according to package instructions - or at 375F for 8 to 12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool briefly
  • Optional finishing: glaze with melted jam; drizzle with icing or dust with powdered sugar
