Ackee Boiled Dumplings

In Jamaica and much of the other Caribbean islands boiled dumplings are staple for almost any meal especially saucy stews, curries or soup. It’s basically flour and water with a bit of salt kneaded to make a dough that is then shaped into discs and dropped into boiling water to cook.

Stuffed Focaccia

A soft herbed focaccia drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt is the perfect accompaniment for a comforting bowl of soup. But how about taking an easy focaccia recipe and stuffing it with some flavorful fillings so that it can stand all on it’s own?
